I had a whole bunch of really insightful and interesting stuff written about this day with much commentary regarding the photos, but somehow it got deleted. So now, I'm not just pithy, I'm pissy. I was able to retrieve the photos easily enough (with Sparky's help), so here they are, I might try to rewrite some stuff, but maybe not. I'm quite annoyed right now.
Building the lasagna: someday I'll invest in an anodized rectangular dutch oven so I can stop having to break the noodles apart to fit them in the round D.O. (not to mention straightening out my loaves):
